how do you build a ROM?

I would like to build my very own ROM, any tutorials on how to?

i have Calkulin's Kitchen, and can piece the ROM together.

what i am really interested is how do i put certain programs that i want into the ROM, such as MaxManila. Then i would also want to build my own wallpaper and have it cooked into the ROM.

then icons and etc.

No offense, but if you are asking these questions, building your own ROM is more than likely too much much for you atm.

No offense but instead of posting such a useless commentary you should have at least have helped him get started.

As for the OP, I really wouldn't know. You might try to PM those who have made some and go from there.

Dont take the negativity personally. I recommend you first learn how to use CAB files, then flash ROMs before you even get into Building ROMs. This ROM building is very complicated. If you follow the process I advised you will learn more and more each time.

Good Luck.

Hope to see what ROMs you come up with in the near future.

God Bless

i can load cab files onto phone and install them on my phone,
my main goal for a ROM is so that they are cooked in saving space and memory. there are a lot of nice ROMs out there, personally like NRGz. however, i notice that there are applications/ stuff that i dont use. If i take them out i can direct the extra memory and space for running the phone.
