Unique tones for text messaging
 

I feel stupid asking such a noob question. I searched, a lot, and all I seem to find is people asking how to set tones for text messages. What I want to know is if you can give different contacts their own tone for text messaging like you can with a ring tone. Thank you in advance.

i too wish it was like that. i bet it can be just added or a mod to the reg...

no but if u want to import ur own sounds for texts just take the mp3 and place it in ur phones memory under MY DEVICE/ APPLICATION DATA/ SOUNDS and then go to ur sounds and notifications and select what ever tone u just put it
