Text Message Tones not working..
 

Has anybody had problems with their Text Message tones suddenly becoming non-functional? Sometimes they will work and then suddenly stop and I have to soft reset to get it to work again. Then it will work for five or six times and then stop working again.

I don't have any ringtone or text message tone software installed.

It also seems that whenever my text message tone stops working, HTC YouTube stops working as well and says, "This video cannot be played" whenever I click on a video to play.

I can't figure out what it is that's doing this as I don't believe I have any software installed that would conflict with these applications.

Any help would definetely be appreciated. I am using MightyROM's most current release.

Sounds like some sore of corrupt files with your audio. I would clear storage. I am running the latest from Mike and all my tones work perfect. Check your mods as well to ensure none of them break your sounds after the program runs.

I have the same problem from time to time....hen I have to copy the sound file to the windows folder again, cause the "old" file became corrupt.

I´m running a german custom rom.

I am using a program called "JUST TONES" to manage all my ring tones and system sounds.. works 100% with no corruption...

I tried clear storage and did it again and still can't figure out the problem. It happens after a couple days of using the ROM.

So did you save a copy of the files when they weren't corrupt to your storage card and then copy them to Windows once they became corrupt?

I've tried Ringo in the past but had problems with it.

So has anybody had the problem described above with HTC YouTube? Is there a fix?
