Sense 2.1 Email Tab Add-on from Sense 2.5 port
 

Has any one tried to install this cab on their TP2?

After installing, it changes the tab to show more of the email like in Sense 2.5, but the email account select icons on the right-side of the screen are all white blobs. And the texting tab at the bottom of the screen displays corrupt. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if anyone knows a fix... does the XML directory in the ZIP file need to be copied outside of installing the WVGA CAB file and the? I also installed the 'WVGA fix' from post #3 and it didn't seem to fix this issue.

I'm running stock Verizon 6.5 ROM.

im sorry im not of any help but just so you know the newest sense 2.1 thats in calkulins kitchen has this with no patching required, also he's using the new verizon drivers and kernal. so it would be the best of both worlds. new fast builds and the 2.5 email tab.

Yeah... I know that some kitchens and custom ROMs have this (including MM newest ROM), but I like the stock Verizon 6.5 ROM. It works great.

Thanks for recommendation though...

I just tried it, I got white boxes as well and pretty much everything on that tab was messed up. I uninstalled it.

The version Kimi provides is CFC Patched.. That's why your getting blobs and patches.

You'd have to un CFC patch the files before you install it :)

cfc means they are compressed.

stock manila will have a hard time with the compressed files aka graphical issues like your having.

if you dont have it done by the time i get off work ill make a cab up for you. but it will be 8 or 9 pm eastern before ill be able to get to it

How would we make an oem from it for ppckitchen? I use oemizer to create oem from the cab and i end up flashing non-booters.

Does anyone know if it's been figured out how to get VZW sync push mail to show the message body? The who and when shows fine but the message body is missing from TF3D. By the way I hit the thanks MM. The Cab works great.

This looks great. This, along witht he Calendar tab port(especially the agenda like in 2.5), 2.1 is looking better and better.

Now if the people tab can be ported as well, I just might go back to 2.1. Although I would miss the Twitter tab.

I agree... I would love to have the people/contacts tab from 6.5. Does anyone know if this has been ported back to 2.1?

I love the reply/fwd/del in Email tab Sense 2.5 but I am using Sense 2.1, so I will highly appreciate if anybody can help me have those functions in Sense 2.1. Thanks so much !
