In Call Recording for Windows Phone 6.5?

I tried to search for this subject but cannot find it?

Anyone know of the registry edit to do so? the Cab doesn't work in Mighty Rom with windows mobile 6.5

How would I go about to being able to re-enable it?

Re: In Call Recording for Windows Phone 6.5?

Try these edits, I used them on the Mogul and the TP and it worked on both using 6.1 os, havent it tried it on 6.5 though, nor on the TP2 at all, but worth the try if you really want that function and you dont need an app for this to work.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\(AudioRecording)
("Enabled"=dword:1)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\(Voice)
("EnableCallRecordMenuItem"=dword:1
"AllowInCallRecording"=dword:1)

the entries in parantheses do not exist by default and need to be created.
there will be in the menu a choice to record after the call connects, if this even works for the tp2

Re: In Call Recording for Windows Phone 6.5?

Here's what I use for my Imagio. While in a call go to the Menu option in the dialer and you'll see the recording option there. I believe the default recording location is \My Documents\My Voices but easily changed via the registry.

I can't remember exactly where I got the cab file from so no credit to me for it lol.

Good to know, I was about to try it myself, but it is dependent on rom and hardware with those registry entries, it is inherent to the os since winmo 5, just not taken advantage of, it might just be the tp2, it has worked on almost all winmo phones i have had. Oh, well.

and with this great sound if the speakers, this would be perfect.

Well I only recently started browsing the TP2 section, once you guys got the official Win6.5 update lol. Someone else probably linked it in the Imagio forum at some point in time and that's where I snagged it heheh.

Re: In Call Recording for Windows Phone 6.5?

yeah the cab for all camera shooting modes for the Touch Pro 2 doesn't work either..

I didn't think 6.5 windows changed that much... FML.. Oh well I guess I don't use both that often anyways..

but it's nice to have when you do want to use it..

I just entered these reg edits, and they work, the volume is low, but through a headset it is easier to hear the recorded call, it will save the call in a folder titled notes in the my documents folder on the main memory.
