ok so i already removed the one verizon icon but is there a way to remove the other? or to change the text to something else???

so i tried a cab called personalizer and was able to change the name, but it kept flipping between verizon wireless and my chosen text. so then i tried no top curtains cab and that didnt remove the text either. is there anyother ways to remove that text??

one way is to use a modified PRL

what is a prl? will it run on the stock rom?

Try this man its like Personalizer but works better, just don't place anything in the Custom Operator Name:, check enable background monitoring, and place 0 in Check name every () seconds. It works perfect for me.

The exact same thing has happened to me every time I have tried Personalizer (in at least 4 different phones)

I gave up on it.
