i just got my htc touch pro 2 in and i wanted to update to 6.5
can i get any help or walk thru plz.
will i need winwar?
after i download the upgrade do i neeed to unlock the phone are what?
i have been watching youtubes on unlocking but where do i find the unlocker for verizon prgram? any helpp plz

you have to unlock your phone first. you can find the unlocker here. Once you unlock you can flash any rom from this forum. Hope this helps.

my bad, yeah if you want to flash the official vzw 6.5 rom you don't need to unlock your phone. just download the new rom and flash away. Nothing is needed except active sync

ok thanks man whats cdma and gsm upgrades will i need to know what that is and after i use the unlocker how im i getting the 6.5 update on the phone.will i do the same process as installong a custom rom

stock verizon 6.5 rom you don't need to unlock your phone but for custom roms just follow my instructions in post #3 and you will be fine. once unlocked only install cdma roms (verizon and sprint are cdma carriers). gsm roms are for tmobile and att.

ok so this window mobile 6.5 on the site does it need a unlocker and if not how do i get it to the phone once i have sync it
