Annoying haze over background image

Has any else noticed that when using your TP2 that there is this annoying washed out white haze ovr the background image? I tried using a darker image but it only slightly helped. Is there a fix for this?:protest:

open the image in the picture viewer, set to home screen BG & set the transparency to zero
