I just ordered a TP2 ...upgrading form TP1

cost me $300 without contract! anyways I'm wondering if sprint come's with screen protector?

if not suggest me a GREAT one

it comes with a pretty nice one. the stylus will scratch it up though as well as your screen so beware. Why cant they put a
softer tip on the stylus ?

The items that the TP 2 come with is way way decreased compared to the TP, I am surprised they even put a screen protector in there. But yes the do.

Your in luck!!! it comes with one. decent quality too. i had it on my phone without a case(because i was surprised with my tp2) and when i slid my phone into my pocket the screen protector slid off and i sprayed it with lcd cleaner then re-applied it and all is well 2 weeks later! enjoy it bro!

first off, how did you get it for $300 w/o contract?!

It's easy to miss. You have to comb through the paperwork piece by piece in the box. I have one right now that I love, with a forever guarantee. It was cheap on eBay, just a pinch tackier than the stock one. I got used to the different feel in a day or 2 and now think it's actually a more accurate and smoother feel. I've had it about 2 months and it still looks like new.

With mine it was on the last page of the instruction manual, it is supposed to come with one.

found the screen protector after 2 months of not knowing it was there (apparently I never even opened the bag that had the manual and such inside). oops

so now I can say that YES! there is a screen protector in there :D

It is a nice screen protecter, but be sure you get it aligned PERFECTLY. I thought I had mine on right, but the corner at the earpiece started catching and bending back on itself. It wouldn't stick back down, so I had to clip the corner off. It's holding, but doesn't look quite right. I'll replace it eventually once it's scratched up or if something else starts peeling, which so far it hasn't (after 3 or so months).

I just got my Sprint TP2, and I applied the screen protector, but I have to say it makes using the touch screen, especially tapping+holding+dragging with TF3D, quite difficult. Very challenging to easily slide your thumb across the screen now.

I applied it pretty well, hardly any air bubbles, is it the screen protector itself? I just ordered the ones from mikedboyd's post:


I ordered 2 of those. I'm so pumped about this new phone, but this SP has hindered the touch screen experience :(

EDIT: After washing the hell out of the screen protector (first Windex, then soapy water on a damp cloth), I put it back on and it's smoove as hell! Some tiny fabric fibers/dust particles still managed to creep onto the SP but it's pretty good for now, until my order arrives. Just in case anyone else runs into the same...
