sms phone # auto fill in gone after classic word completion
 

i did this fix and got tired of it cuz it was slow. now when i try to start a new sms and type in the first few letters for the name of the person that i want to send the sms to, the phone doesnt show me the names. any ideas on this?

or how do i go back to all orinal input settings?

got it working.
for sprint tp2
the original settings should be like this

HKLM\Software\Tegic\eT9\XT9SupportMSSip has a value of 0

Change these two registry keys under:

HKLM\system\currentcontrolset\control\layouts\e001 0409

•Ime File: \windows\et9ime.dll
•Layout Text : ET9 IME


after uninstalling the cab file for the word completion. the 2 et9 were changed to xt9

Finally something that actually works to disable word completion!!! Thank you so much!!!! All these other cabs and things claim to, but when I try them...guess what, word completion is still there! What a pain in my ass this has been! You rock!

PS - To anyone out there, this works on my TP, not just TP2!
