How to dump/extract a rom to use in a kitchen
 

I want to use indygrooves rom. However the email doesent work. I suspect it has something to do with showcase.exe. therefore I want to play with the packages and see if i can get it to work.

my question.

I downloaded his erv file and the kitchen that he used to make the rom. but it complains about thigns being missing. the kitchen is only 7 megs. I was told that i have to dump/extract a rom for it first.

Can someone help me do this, iv figured out the rest of the proccess, but i dont know how to do this part.

You didn't download the whole kitchen. It sounds like you just have the ervius portion. There's probably at least 2 links to s SYS/ROM and an OEM/EXT package. You need to open the .txt called kitchen links to download his kitchen here: http://everythingdiamond.info/showpo...80&postcount=3

ah, i see. thanks for the help. i thought for some reason that the txt file was for other info.

Am i correct in this...

If i use the same kitchen he used, the two files in the text file and his erv file, that will give me the same rom that he made? from there I can customize it the way i want to?
