Just got my replacement Sprint TP2

**spoiler** This isn't a sob, bashing, or complaint thread!!

Strait from my sprint hook up ; ). Anyways as stated above I just got another TP2 after I accidentally installed a batter driver that actually KILLED my phone literally!

So my cousin got me a brand new phone, no refurb, boxed with all accessories(besides new sd card), even threw in a spare battery and activated it for me. So within the first 2 minutes of scrolling the stock sprint rom + touch flo (2.1) and wow its pretty speedy, like whip lash fast! The phone feels so fresh the keyboard slider is stiff (which i like) aand the hardware buttons are firm and extra responsive!

I know this a rant about something I should already expect with a new device but man......I think I fell in love all over again, reminds me of my first titan.

Oh well back to the wonderfull world of flashing.......got to love this WM life...

Are you sure a battery driver KILLED your phone? Try it again.........

It was the battery driver. It was the only thing I installed ON the device not the sd card like I usually do! we tried like 4 different batteries and then they diagnosed it at his store and that was the root of the problem! Thats why i didn't want to go through sprint because I knew they would end up charging me a $100 or even more for a replacement. Believe me, if it wasn't that battery driver i wouldn't have waited 1 whole week for him to get me a new handset!

yea, about that... wouldnt hard resetting or flashing a stock ROM fix that? i mean if someone was able to diagnose an issue at a Sprint store, i think the device would have been able to have been flashed.

What is the battery driver? Can you link me so I can download? I don't think battery driver can kill the phone.

i agree, if you installed something that messed up like that, place phone in bootload and you should be fine to flash it back to normal. Dont think the sprint store knew what they were talking about.

i tried hard resetting, re-flashing(stock and custom ROMs), even used different batteries. If anyone of you all have an official sprint diagnostics machines that can get to the roo of the problem then everyone's post is irrelevant. I know what was said and they asked me did i install a 3rd party battery driver cause thats what came up on their machine. I have a brand new phone that i didn't have to pay for, congratulate instead of speculate! Thats why the world so f'ed up now...gesh can a dude get a break?

we are hear to learn also, and to try to diagnose problems.
