Re: The TP2 saved your butt: Stories from a TP2 owner

Slumber party: 2 days long (Saturday morning til Sunday Evening) Seven young girls age range from 6-8 to make matters worse, it was held at a hotel (with limited TV channels BTW) Me and the wife took them there because they had a swimming pool but didn't come prepared for the night time entertainment. To make a long story short, all I brought with me was my PS3 (to kill MY time) and my TP2. So with girls screaming about what kind of stuff they would like to watch and the channels that aren't there so that they could watch them, I downloaded a few movies from my Touch Pro 2, hooked it up to the PS3 and was able to view movies nonstop for both days!! (I mean, can you just imagine 7 little girls whining for 2 days? Thats waaay too high pitched for my ears!!)

I have a sprint TP2 and I removed the orange accents from inside my battery cover. My 1 1/2 year old was screaming his head off because his food was not to him in a timely fashion. I was able to use my battery cover as a makeshift colander and strained his peas with it.
Ok... I made that up. But I bet it would work. LOL.

Let's hear those stories!

I love when I forget to send my graduate thesis to myself via email and I can just pull up VNC and send it right from my home computer!

I also am digging all the money I'm saving NOT getting in-room internet at hotels now that I have tethering and 3G.

WiMax Rock. Lol, threadmaster - are you blind?

"I was stranded on a deserted island and all I had was a soccer ball to keep me company. I painted a face on it but it wasn't the same as a real person, so I used my TP2 to send the Coast Guard a text message about where the island was based on GPS coordinates".

No- seriously, I saved $25.00 at a major retailer when I pulled up the competitions website and showed the manager their price. I figured that was about 1/3 of my phone bill right there.

I do this too... I also look on line to see if I can buy a particular item on line (ebay) for half or less. Then I place my bid from my hand.
I love this thing.
