Wirelessly posted (XV6875.1 Opera/9.50 (Windows NT 5.1; U; en))

I just flashed over to the new OEM Verizon 6.5 and can't get the ResProxy reg edit to stick. Any ideas? Also, can someone tell me what the reg entry for "ShareMemSizeInUse" should be set to? I think I changed to 0 on accident.

ShareMemSizeInUse is set to 0 on restart. So you're fine here

But, no, CM Killer doesn't work on the Verizon 6.5 ROM

Unzip and copy the following dll to windows directory. Then soft reset. Change resproxy values and soft reset again

Well... can't say for SURE this doesn't work, because I've already tried to fix this by deleting the following keys in the Registry

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Apps\P reLoadRes
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\BootLauncher\Servic es\ResProxy
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\ResProxy

So I don't have any more settings to set anymore ;)

But for sure after having the phone running all morning, going in and out of Opera, SkyFire, Album, Music, etc, I'm down 30MB of memory.

I'm wondering if WM has default values it uses if it can't find those keys....

If you use the phone it will have memory leaks. Is push internet disabled.

Yup, that is disabled. Let me let the phone run for a while and see just how "bad" memory use gets, then I'll have a better whats going on (it was getting past 80% in use after a day or so before this)

Re: Help with ResProxy not sticking

btw... could I have caused any problems by deleting those keys? I do have the phone backed up and I could obviously hard reset if I need to. I just figured if ResProxy isn't running (especially if the DLL is just empty now), I wouldn't need those keys.
