people keep talking about whats coming. Im more interested in the Now. For example I have the best version of the U.S Touch Pro 2 with its embedded 3.5 mm headphone jack which is awesome for using it through my car Clarion stereo

i laughed pretty hard at the faux woodgrain that medows rory posted earlier back. Also whats up with those renders HTC Donatello.. Ninja Turtles much?

While i wish i had the time to wait and speculate on whats gonna be the greatest this new year, I'm perfectly comfortable with my 4G Sprint Touch Pro2. I dont use the data connection anymore, pure 4G signal powering my phone. Hey and when the HD2 releases I'll get it on launch day best of all worlds. I just feel bad for those current Tmobile customers on TP2's right now, without a 3.5mm headphone jack and a tacky faux wood grain back lol just my humble opinion

people are always going to be looking forward, for the next big thing, lol

back in the day most people actually use the phone for 2 years before upgrading.. now your lucky to make it a year.. thank god for sprint prem..at least u can get a upgrade every year..

but one thing i do like bout gsm.. sim cards.. u can pop that baby in anything phone u like ( if it supports the right bands ) and go... with sprint u have to go online and do a esn swap..lol ok for the people who are not in a hurry..

Just wait im sure sprint has some super secret cards waiting to fall outta that sleeve..

just dont know what they will be..

I'm not sure that would make it the "best". I don't really listen to that much music so I don't really need a headphone jack.

Actually, with some of the guitar people I've known, they'd probably dig that phone.

Well, that was spin-off naming from the "HTC Leo"

the 3.5mm gives it whole car phone confrencing hands free. So in this case its best to have it and not use it rather than simply not there.

As a guitar player myself its insulting to see the Fender name on something thats faux wood. I personally have a maple neck Gibson Les Paul which i love but friend of mine has a real nice original Fender

I'm still not sure what gave merit for you to post some obviously fake renders. Just seemed out of place

3.5mm is defnitely a necessity

I try not to use the phone on the road, so I still have no use. I've watched a couple movies in bed with the headphones and didn't really mind the control panel adapter that comes with the unit. I think it would be pretty cool if it had a few more ports in there, like RCA, IR, and others!

Uhm, I think it was pretty obvious they were fake and I think it was pretty obvious that they were jokes. I simple GoogleImaged "future phone".

rory you don't like music or have a need for it? Instead or wasting $ buying an mp3 player, my tp2 works lovely for this. I can't wait for hd2 because it has the best winmo media player out. manilla 2.5 on the tp2 is a little slow but definitely better then anything out there in terms of a mp3 player. Now my bose headsets and my beats by dre work without any stupid adapter sticking out of my phone. That 3.5mm makes the cdma tp2s better in my eyes. I'm so glad HTC decided to go 3.5mm from now on.

No, no, I didn't mean to sound like I was bashing the jack, just that I have no use for it so I wouldn't vote that it's the key feature on any of the models. I definitely think it was a bad business decision to not have a jack (even my HTC Wizard had a jack). But, in terms of me, I have no need for it. I listen to Stern to and from work, I have only obtained like 4 CDs over the past year (I got a Ben Folds CD for Christmas 2008, but have never opened it) and I barely listen to music anymore for some unknown reason. I guess the only thing I really listen to on a regular basis is the 80s station and the New Wave station on Sirius when going on long trips or riding in my fiencee's car. Even then, my radio allows to download songs right from the radio and I haven't even listened to the ones I've downloaded from there! If we're talking about phone features on some HTC devices that aren't on others that MAKE the device, then of course, the keyboard is king. If we're talking about my device vs. other TP2 devices, I like the blocky design of the T-Mobile version better (the CDMA one looks cheap to me) and I like that I'm allowed to tether right out of the box.

I agree, I also like the reset Hole and sd card on the outside, and most of all how the volume rockers arent built into the battery covers like the others...... Just retarded, they made the cover too much into the design while making it cover some simple stuff......
