Sprint Touch Pro 2 swtich to GSM ROM?

If I do not want to use the CDMA network any more, can I flash my Sprint TP2 with a GSM ROM? If the answer is yes, will it be stable? Guess what I want is a GSM ROM written for Sprint TP2. Anyone knows?

i answered you over at xda. you have a cdma device, putting a gsm rom on it will brick it period.

Thanks, seems I have to stick to the radio. The problem for me is it always ask me to register on ATT network since I'm at a place the signal is not good.

From experience, the GSM ROM won't function and your phone won't get past the power on screen.

You CAN resolve this by going into bootloader and loading a CDMA ROM. So no, it won't brick your phone, at least from when I did this recently. (yes, stupid move)

Sounds like an issue with the ATT network that no rom can help you with.
