FIXED!! - outgoing call problem
 

Hey Guys,

I have a problem, I upgraded to mightyrom 011010 after going to the new stock verizon Rom. This morning in a meeting my phone started to try and go to a Netherlands Vodaphone provisioning. And now I cant seem to dial out of my phone or receive calls. I reflashed the the stock VZN 6.5 Rom and now I can receive incomming calls and Data. But still cant dial out. I hard reset and still the same. I just Flashed to old verizon stock Rom and still no outgoing. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Take out vodaphone sim card

Why would I have a Vodaphone simcard.... or are you being funny?

That is verizon overseas carrier. Just take it out and you will have no more problems. Remember you own a world phone with a sim slot.

No just remove the sim card and you will be ok.

hmm. Took it out and did not fix. hard Resetting now.

Hard Reset and Reprogramed. Still no outgoing call. I get a Verizon can not Authenticate your phone msg. I am receiving ingoing and have a data connection. Running VZN 6.5 Stock.

I experienced the same problem for a few days until I called Verizon yesterday morning and got them to fix the problem. They may have to create a new auth key for your phone.

thats good to hear someone else had the problem and got it fixed. i have a business line and it is through a third party reseller of minutes. so my phone number is not reconized by verizon. but i am ment to call our tech support when i get back to the office so they can move my number to another phone then back to my phone. hopefully that works.
