on my sprint tp2 I have to start connection with opera or something and leave opera running in the background . then start internet sharing

also the first time u use it , u have to change the selection from phone as modem to Sprint. it should stay that way afterwards. but when its set to phone as modem connection , you'll get error 67 every time
