shutdown animation on tp2 is it possible???
 

Is possible to get the tp2 to have a shutdown animation like on the tp, instead of the tp2 just turning off with no animation???

I would say so. Since the Verizon TP2 one has one. I'm sure someone has figured out which files are used already.

But I personally wouldn't want it to add to the shutdown time at all. I mostly use reset applications to avoid the animation and to speed up the process.

Absolutely it is possible. In fact, you can make the Start Up and Shut Down Animaitons whatever you would like. Here is how:

HKLM/Software/HTC/Poweroff "PlayShutdownAnimation" Value = 1 (1 is yes, 0 is no)

HKLM/Software/HTC/HTCAnimation "ShutDownAsStartup" Value = 1 (1 is yes, 0 is no)

Note: Adding the above values will make whatever your startup animation is play as the shutdown. Also, you can customize your start up and shut down animations by going into the registry and changing the values which should be in the HTCAnimaiton key. Mine, for example says (StartupGif REG_Z = \Windows\bootsplash.gif) Respectively, you can also add a REG_Z to HTCAnimation named "ShutdownGif" and have it point to the desired file..but if you have different startup and shutdown animations, change the DWORD to 0 in the ShutDownAsStartup entry.
