Hey thanks! I successfully installed the first cab, and it is working but the menu bar is not at the bottom, yet in the middle or 3/4 from the bottom? Is there a WVGA fix or something?

I have searched for the HTC Albums Version 3.2 cab and for other options and no luck. My problem is the phone I want to update is running Mighty Rom with 2.1, I know my wife wont want to switch to another rom as she likes Mighty's stability. At this point If any one is running sence 2.1 and has tested out the cabs obove the info would be appreciated.

Look in the FAQ. Do a Crtl+F and type "social-engine"

Funny thing is I found those cabs earlier today on a different page and the HTC_Album_+_SocialNetworksEngine.cab wouldn't even install. It gave me a permissions error. These installed fine. Oh well - glad you found them!

shatner is right though, the menu/album bar that is normally found on the bottom of the screen is about 3/4 of the way down. The good news is the facebook upload functionality and the functionality of the album itself seem to be fine as long as you can suffer with the bar across the album screen. This is probably the bug Mike found that made him take it out of his ROMs. I guess I will run this until Mightly throws the 3.2 with social networking in his next ROM update. Go Mighty! ;-)

another issue, dont seem to have any control within fullscreen under Stock Rom and 2.1.

Dang I really would like a OEM style solution for facebook and youtube.

I don't have these problems but you do have to install these to your device not the SD card to function properly. Also I'm running Silence_12 and works good even though the Album and Menu buttons on the bottom are kinda big...:salute:

Your right. You have no full screen control. I can hit the "back" hardware button to get out of full screen mode, but touching the screen does not get you the normal touch options.

That's interesting. Do you know what Album version the Silence ROM had before you installed the cabs? I did install them to the device as well and still have the button bar 3/4 of the way down the screen. It's not a WVGA issue since you have the exact same screen. :?

all the cabs i have found for album 3.2 and social network seem to be either for vga or they dont work right, I have used calculins kitchen and his oems work perfect and ssk's also, not sure why mighty doesnt ask calculin or ssk if he can use their oem from their kitchen...I would like every chef to use 3.2 b/c social networking is a big deal nowadays.

Found this and beleive it's a WVGA Album 3.2, but I'm not familiar enough with WM development to convert it to a cab to try. Anyone have an idea how to do it? It looks like the "PACKAGE_LEO_Social_Networks_Engine" and other directory's would need extracted to the Windows directory, but I'm not sure what the "_0409" directories are about. I'm guessing they are files created from a development package. :? Since I can't post link under 10 posts I had to get creative. Change the "DOT" to "." and the "SLASH" to "/" in the addr below.
