Question(s) on HTC Touch Pro 2 (Sprint)

Hello PPC-Geeks,

I am sure many of the questions i ask here have already been answered but i thought I would ask here in one post!

First... What is the best program to backup my contact information and my text/multimedia messages so i can restore it in my other touch pro 2?

Second... Can i just copy the Messaging folder which is located in the Windows folder to restore my text/multimedia messages?

Third... If i do flash my stock rom and install a custom rom, how do i go back to stock rom if per say, i dont like the stock rom?

That's all for now... Hope the answers will be clear and detailed.

Thank you all for reading and taking the time to respond! i appreciate it alot

for best backup of contacts/messages id say use pimback up
http://www.pocketpcfreeware.com/en/index.php?soft=1806

and if you want to go back to the stock rom. you can install as easily as u did the custom rom. you can download stock roms in the upgrade section as well.

1. use microsoft myphone to backup over the air and to restore over the air. you can view all your contacts, sms, photos etc on your computer too. so you can skip question #2. http://myphone.microsoft.com/mkweb/S...6p_for_myphone
3. you can checkout the upgrade section. it will show you how to go back to original rom. it's very simple.

MyPhone is exactly what you are looking for. I use it to backup and restore my contacts, calendar, and tasks, whenever I flash a new ROM or change phones. I used to also use it for text messages, pictures, videos, and documents, But I don't back those up anymore.

If you get a new phone and sync it, you will have the info on both phones. You can tell it to wipe the old phone though if you want (if it gets stolen or something).

I have yet to find a good way to restore the mms messages on the phone. Right now I just save the pictures and deal with loosing the messages. Wish that wasn't the case.
