New to this having a phone with an actual warranty since I came to Tmobile from Cricket (never used any of their crap phones flashed my own over to use)K so heres where I am kinda confused...if I flash this to my phone do I have to restore it to 6.1 if ever I have to do a swap for insurance or whatever? Does it have to be stock the way I got it or since this is a release BY Tmobile can I use it n not worry bout all that? Thanks!

if its the official tmobile 6.5 rom....You can leave the 6.5 rom on while returning it and it wont void warranty, but it does have to be relocked if ya unlocked it previously..

you could flash without hspl if you flash from pc......

but I think the shipped rom has its own spl in it to bypass it on the phone... so if ya just flashed the .nbh/rom I dont think it will provide that file to allow it to flash, unless maybe put the spl.nbh that comes with the .rar and the rom.nbh in the root and maybe itll work, but thats risky, id try it but wouldnt recommend you to........

if your unlocked id say yes.... But looking at the files in the shipped rar. that spl with it makes me think no if your locked......

Maybe the new Sprint ROM will be 6.5.3 like all the phones at CES right now...

Also comes with the visual voice mail app... Just a nice stock 6.5, no bugs yet....... Running at 64% memory witha few things open for the fast 2 hours.......

Any updates on this? I backed up everything last night and was trying to avoid any new cabs to install before I took the plunge.

I was reading over at XDA that someone thought this might not be the complete final release because it didn't look as polished as the European versions. Thoughts?

Also, did anyone get the VVM to work without having to switch their data plans to the Android ones?

its the exact same as the euro on, but honestly a little better, things seems smoother and gps lock is instantly..... IT DOESNT COME WITH THE WEATHER ANIMATIONS DEFAULT, BUT of course there a cab for that...... Its great and I will be running this till the Leo........ One bug, ya cant check the light alert while in settings/sounds and notifications/recieve text, its greyed out, but it still flashes automatically for like 5 min....

Other than that I see no problem, its smooth, battery life is good, not much junk actually like to much bloatware....

it runs at 68% after all day with opera, file explorer and emails open... 60 mb of program memory also...

Works for me, But im not much of a custom rom fan unless the stock sucks...... But it dont, not did the uero one........

Very nice. Can you post the animated weather cab, just for ease for the reader?

Also, I'm a stock man myself. I don't want to run the risk of ever bricking my phone based on what I install because I install so much (170+ cabs and growing). Especially since 90% of the threads here are troubleshooting that has something to do with a custom ROM.

I assume that you can still install the 2 cabs that reduce the memory usage (no push and the other one), right?

My basic concerns:
1. Is it faster than stock 6.1?
2. Is it worth reinstalling my 170+ cabs?
3. Is there anything that doesn't work with it?
4. Is the signal better with the new radio?
5. Is it worth reinstalling my 170+ cabs?

yes on the 2 cabs. I consistantly stay at 68% with 3 things open all day..

Its not a exact weather cab, Its Apristals ultimate tweak cab that will moddify the slider, clock, lines, top n bottom curtains, basically theming up the home screen, and the weather is just included, but actually I think I may have his standalone cab let me dig......

I myself install like 65 cabs and its smooth.

1.yes its faster
2.yes imo if ya looking for a good stock rom.. 6.5 2.1 sense..
3. Everything installed great, and even some games that didnt work on the euro rom work on this.
4. Im not sure because I get 4 bars 3g/H already, its holding up as the last which is good for me and my area..
5. depends on if your a custom rom dude or ya looking to finally get one and settle down with it...... Once again I just care about 2.1 sense and this has it, and MMS is huge :) ill wait for 2.5 when the hd2 is released, by then they may just get it runnung perfectly on the tp2s...

Ill look for Apristols cab....
