NIB Touch Pro2 - No SD card?
 

Just received a NIB TP2 from Asurion. It contained phone, SIM card, charger/cable, extra stylus...but no SD card. No biggie as I am sure it would have been a smaller one, but I am curious if anyone else had the same experience?

That is correct. TP2 did not come with a microSD card or case or any of the usual accessories that we'd come to expect from HTC.

I didn't get one either through Verizon.

It does seem that someone did get the SD card through one of the other carriers.

No gots from VZ for my TP2 for me either, was a bit surprised

Just for additional 2 cents, just installed a class 6 16g card made by RiData that I got from NewEgg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820183245 for 51.99 w free shipping.

Card seems to work pretty good for me but it does seem like a lot are reporting its speed as not up to class 6 but for this price I'm OK with it.

No biggy. The freebie SD cards were always too small and slow anyway.

You can get a 8GB Class 6 for under $20.00.

If they did supply one, at best, it would be 2GB Class 4 (worth about $5.00).

I lost the SIM card for mine. I doubt I'll be traveling anywhere, but does anyone have a "spare" that came with theirs from a replacement or do you think that Sprint store would give me another one?

No, I doubt I'll ever have a use for it, but if I ever go to sell it.... I'd rather it be complete.

the sim is dof gsm global bands. its gona come in pretty handy when i hit ports, i just called and the mailed it to me.

you'll get more for it if you sim unlock it, because they can use a gsm sim card here in the states.

lol, I may sim unlock it someday. No need right now. I probably don't really need the sim either.... :)

it has it's perks, just something to do i guess lol! i'm using a t-mobile prepaid card, which comes in handy when i'm in a building and sprint gets spotty.

i may unlock it so i can have multiple numbers. ive had to change my number 4 times in the past year. ill have my sprint number and my black book number :evil:

I only plan on using the GSM networks back in UK whenI go home in the summer.
That's why I asked about what's the Sprint card for, surely they don't expect you to use their sim and pay global roaming charges to them when abroad, when you can just buy a sim localy for >10 bucks that includes minutes and data.?!
