How do I turn off............
 

This is getting annoying. When I start a call and place th ephone near m ycheek, the proximity sensor turns the screen off, I LIKE this! When I remove the phone from my ear, the screen is black and tells me about notifications such as voicemail, email, sms. This is VERY annoying to have to close this screen then end the call, or punch a number, etc.

How do I fix this?

It's because your ear touched your screen. Not much you can do about it.

Weird, never had this issue....go a little slower to your head...that way your not pushing on the screen when it's still active. Thats my only suggestion.

i get the similar thing, but its m start menu all the time. lol

same deal here. my locker has in call protection that i thought would cure this but the 1 that uses the sensor isnt properly working & the other one have to slide across screen can be p.i.t.a at times. today i hang up phone to learn i have free 11.82 mb of ram lol. i am dealin so far

I used to get that problem until I turned the notification manager off altogether.

Getting your ears fixed by a surgeon might work.
