Is there a wayto re-enable old style TP1 notifications?
 

Hi,

I did a search and nice feature to try to show what relevant results might exist before you post, by the way.

I miss the notifications that were so unobtrusive in the TP1. I like the TP2 but I would love the not so large obtrusive balloons that show up on my TP2 screen. I liked the ones that were smaller and easier to manage from the TP1.

Anyone have any workarounds or cabs that allow me to go back to the TP1 notifications balloons when you tap "Notifications" at the bottom of the device?

I'd like to but at the moment (at work) I have no way of connecting my TP2 to my laptop to either take or transfer screenshots. I'll do that later.

What I'm after is the old TP1 Notifications when there was new mail, voicemail, or text message, it was unobtrusive and didn't take up half the screen like it does on the TP2 notifications.

Will post the "new" TP2 notifications that I want to replace. I swear, I saw a cab or something where someone had ported the TP1 notifications style to the TP2.

A screenshot of Shake n' Save? You just start it, and it asks which of 4 formats you want the screenshots saved in (I choose jpg), and you have to check a little box too. Then it sits in the background until you get to the screen you want, then shake the phone a little. The photo is saved, and you know because a box pops up and asks if you want to close the program, or continue (something like that). That way you know it saved the screenshot, and can terminate it if desired.
