How to change SMS date??
 

My clock is set to the actual time and date, but ever since new years day my SMS/MMS have been date stamped with 2016 instead of 2010, the ones I send are time stamped right, but the ones I receive are all tagged 2016

anyone have any idea how to fix this?

did someone post a question on this and not even bother to look? it is a sticky, there are numerous threads, and a frontpage news article.... wow.

Normally I frown when someone takes the time to reply and just says, "use the search function it has been covered" rather than helping out with a link but in this case the only more obvious the help one could extend would be calling this the FIXforthe2016BugGeeks.com site
