Will we get the w6.5 update??? and How?? Can they do OTA!!??!??

Release is slated for this month...atleast from Microsoft's website for the Touch Pro 2...so hopefully it will happen. It's a 50/50 on weather you can do it OTA....if not Sprint will have a listing on there website as will HTC for our Touch Pro 2's...Just keep checking the sites and someday (Soon I hope) it will be there.

I had a vendor call in who works with HTC and recently sold like 500 TP2's and said that from people he talked with it would be January 10. I asked him if that was from MS and he said that was for Sprint.
Officially in Tech we have heard no time.... so we will find out in a little more than a week if he was right.

I'd say 0/100 chance on OTA. I've never seen an OTA ROM upgrade on WM. It'll be a download.

Yeah. All updates of this type will be available most likely at http://sprint.com/downloads

No way it is going to be OTA.

Yeah I figured it will be downloadable. Depending on the size of the ROM upgrade, probably around 100MB that would take forever on a data network such as Sprints or Verizon's. Thank god for Wi-fi on this device..or your home PC at that. OTA worked on my Blackberry when I had it...but it was slow and painful to watch downloading.

i download roms with my phone all the time... like 120 mb takes lik 45 to a hour or so... Aint that bad, then I just do other things while its downloading.......

I do everything from my phone.... Everything....
