@reyrey the clear stickers on the side eventually get scrunched up. They are only for packaging, so remove them now or when they get scrunched.. doesn't matter cause you'll have to do it eventually. There are a couple threads on that question, so search if you want to see a discussion on it.

@everybody... i'm not too concerned about not having the world adapters... but in HTC unboxing videos for unlocked phones, they always seem to have like 3 or 4 different adapters... is this because they're demo phones or do the phones overseas actually have them included in official packaging? Because if it's the latter, then i feel like im getting screwed.

1. That's normal. There is an array of LEDs under the keyboard & the 4 & 8 are probably just close to an LED.

2. Those are just protective stickers they put on after manufacturing, you can take them off.

3. I haven't noticed anything like that, but I'll pay attention now.

4. When you say it won't let you reply, what exactly do you mean? Can you not open the message or will it just not let you type?

5. HTC knows that not everyone who buys this phone is going to travel worldwide, ergo they aren't gonna waste money by including a world charger with multiple adapters that MOST people will never use in every box. They figure if you wanna travel, you can just pick up the adapter you need.

6. Hmm, that's odd. Mine does my laundry AND scratches my butt. You might wanna do a hard reset & try it again.

butt scratching nice.....

4. it wont let me type anything. all isee is a blue line and 0/160 and it wont let me type. this has happened once and that was it..

thanks..

Well, if you look on sprints website, it says nothing about a world charger. Just "A/C" charger. And it came with one. If it was such a big issue, seems like you would have done a little more research before you bought the phone. But from a business standpoint, not saying its right or wrong, but leaving the charger out is probably pretty good business. 90-95% of them would probably go in the garbage. If it still bothers you, take it back. Find a phone that comes with a world charger if your gonna be unhappy. Just sayin!

They claim that this phone outputs to tv also, but they didn't include that cable? So do we all need to complain about that to? It's the same thing. I shouldn't have to buy a cable for something the phone should do out of the box right? No?

Those are non essential items that don't really hinder the use of the phone. You could go without the case, memory card, and tv adapter..the TP1 didn't even come with that. But if your a traveler that is doing business oversea's do you think you should have pay for adapters to charge your phone while using the GSM network? It just seems weird to have a "Global" phone that doesn't come with those adapters. Some of you just don't see it the way I see it. It's like the dealership selling you a car without the spare tire but charging you for it. By default 99% of cars have spare tires in the back...without a spare tire you would be screwed...you can look at it any way you want but the pure fact is that Sprint or HTC skimped out of this item, and a few others just to save a few bucks....but then turned around and sold people a slightly modified/glorified TP1...Specs are the same for the most part expect the screen size, tilt and the hybrid CDMA/GSM processor...other than that its the same exact phone...The TP1 for god sakes came with more than this phone did...and No, I'm not taking this thing back because it's way better than my TP1 would ever be...

sprints not worried about you going overseas. they shafted you enough on the phone as it is you have no need to travel

Hallelujah on that w7excursion. When I opened the box after buying the phone a couple of months ago, the first thing I looked for was a case for it. And surprise surprise!!!....Sprint didn't include one. The first thing I though about was I got gaffled! I know it's a minor thing because i can always buy one out there...but for the exorbitant price that I paid for my phone...Sprint could've at least given me an OEM case (or came with some sort of case) for my phone....*getting off my soapbox*

as for the adapter...not really a biggie for me. When I do travel, overseas, it's usually always in Asia. And they use the regular plugs in that area of the world so i can just make do with the charger i got.

for OP's item number 6...i guess it's one of those things in life where you get something better, but is missing other services...LOL.

I travel overseas and certainly don't necessarily look to my phone to come with all necessary adapters for my world travels. I already have all necessary adapters, as should anyone who travels. I performed the necessary due diligence on the phone prior to purchase and knew exactly what I was buying, so I don't feel I have the right to play the "they should have provided this or that" in the forum threads. Take the complaints to Sprint and HTC if you feel so bothered by it.

my Verizon touch pro 2 came with all the adapters

This is a big reason why I'm disappointed that Sprint didn't include it. Other carriers have these in the box.

Sprint also didn't include a case or memory card with this phone. Sure, i already have an 8gb card and i probably wouldn't use their case, but these are things that are expected to come with such a high end device. We're paying so much for them, they have to come with extra goodies, whether many of us use them or not. They also should've included some 3.5mm headphones since they advertise its media capabilities.

For the TP3, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't include a screen protector and only include a USB plug with no a/c adapter. Yet, they will raise the price by $50 even when it's purchased with a contract.

Maybe this time around, last time they skimped on the RAM and just about everything else.
