Microsoft keeps changing the release dates for the official WM 6.5 Update for our TP2.

The Android Chefs are making quick progress.

Pretty soon, maybe I can run Symbian or Palm PRE on my TP2 as well

at the rate these carriers are going, Android will be complete lol

Anyways...I think that we'll have a mostly working Android port before a carrier release of 6.5. I'd almost be willing to put money on it.

I wouldn't be looking for a fully working "Sprint-Friendly" version of Android anytime soon. I chose carrier's 6.5. Might be more hope for other carriers though.

who cares? a better question is would you use it? just because its there dosen't make it desireable, current carrier roms are full functioning smartphones, we're just freaks wanting to mess with our phones...

I personally could careless on which one gets released first. I am just glad WE (WM users) have the OPTION to flash a custom rom/android/stock rom. Even if 6.5 is officially released, it won't stop me from flashing custom roms.

y'all realize that a carrier version of 6.5 is already out right? USCC ships with 6.5 preinstalled

lol and you do realize that it is for USC not spcs, vzw. Each carrier has their own personal settings. Ya I am glad USC was the first CDMA 6.5 supported version, but that doesn't mean that ALL 6.5 will be the same. Just my 2 cents, carry on.... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Off topic or not, I voted, it can always be moved. I just ignored the third option cause we all know they can improve on anything released by a provider. (y'all cooks and programmers and theme creators are AWESOME!)

I said android, because it is being done by folk that wanna see it happen. Verizon and Sprint are fairly evil, evil enough to say heck with TP2 owners, they're already in a contract... Come buy a NEW phone if ya want 6.5. They don't wanna see it done cause they wanna see big bottom lines, which means upgraded phones via purchase, or broken contracts to get newer phones.
