From my reading I've seen it said the hardware will support mapping 32GB cards, but HTC advertised as a 16GB max due to lack of 32GB cards for testing before release. 32GB card issues likely won't be officially supported by HTC. I'm wondering if there will be a need for updated drivers or the likes for the card reader to actually make use of them.

I've had good success with both Sandisk and A-data. Sandisk is usually very conservative with their specs, you may find a Class 2 Sandisk actually runs faster than a class 4 A-data

+1 on A-Data and also Transcend. Both manufacturers make good stuff that has consistently been flawless for me. I usually get 'em from Newegg.

Here's a Class 6, 16GB card for around $67, not bad. Fastest, highest capacity.

And an 8GB Class 6 for a pretty unbeatable $18. Good compromise here on speed/capacity/price.

8GB seems to be about the sweet spot. For the price I wouldn't settle for less than Class 6 speeds.

i have a 8gb class 5 worked good for me..and bought a 16gb sandisk class 4 its being shipped...personally the brand does matter and sandisk is the best one but the class it wouldnt effect that much if your using it on your phone and save pictures or files..it would take play if your using it for high capacity videos anything that would really require top notch speed tranfers..but using it on you phone for music or taking pictures dont waste the extra money..you can if you want to just to have the high class

I would steer clear of the junk made by Sandisk (especially the 16 gig cards).

I am on my 3rd one now, the first two burned up & where replaced under warranty. Another poster here once referred to Sandisk as "the Yugo of memory cards". I had sandisk 8 gig cards & they always worked fine, but the 16 gig are total garbage.

My cards where replaced under warranty & I had all the content backed up to my laptop thank god (one of them had over 12 gigs of stuff on it), but when I buy my next card it definitely will NOT be a sandisk brand.......

That is the card to buy, I recently ordered two of them.

When I get them, one will go in my phone & the sandisk will go in the pile of the stuff I use only for emergencies......

I really hope you have better luck than I did, but unfortunately Sandisk's QC has dropped dramatically in the last year or so (especially on the higher capacity cards)

If it was just me, I would think it was a problem with my phone -but other posters reported the same thing with Sandisk & one of my cards burned up in an older TP so the phones is not the problem.

As a semi-professional photographer I can confirm that sandisk has dropped in QC in the past few years or so. Once upon a time I would only recommend them, but as of today I stick with A-data, Transcend, Kingston and Patriot (with the last two being my first choices, but harder to find).

You change opinions real quick once you've lost 2, 4, 8GB+ of RAW + JPEG images, from the same manufacturer, because of poor build or materials. No RMA can ever get back all , if any, of you data--fyi.

32GB micro sdhc has been ellusive all year. Ha! What am I saying? It's 2010 now, so correction: the 32GB micro sdhc announced from several manufactures at the beggining of 2009 seems to have turned into vaporware; as few ever materialized, regardless of demand. (*ahem*Sandisk)

At this point it's anyone's guess as to the cause (either low market demand or low chip stock).
