DRM, Subscription music, ZUNE Pass Support on a ROM

Hi, I am looking for help with either adding subscription DRM support or if there are ROMS that support DRM subscription music like ZUNE Pass. all of the custom roms I have tried wont allow me to sync my subscription music from ZUNE Pass accept my stock Sprint ROM

Help me, I want to go back to my Mighty rom :(

Zune Pass content is designed to be played in the Zune software or on a Zune device. Windows Mobile phones don't natively have the ability to play Zune subscription content, but they should play purchased content with no problem.

edit=you should be able, technically..to sync Zune Pass content via WMP, but that doesn't work on mightyrom it seems.

Stock rom works fine. Haven't found a custom rom that works yet. (Which is just another reason I'm still on stock) :)

thanks you guys, i am going to just stick with the stock ROM for awhile until i figure out a solution that doesn't involve buying an no3 player, i hate the Sprint stock rom, i am looking to teach myself how to build my own rom, i was told by a friend that DRM subscription support has to be cooked in

I was looking for the same thing. I really want Windows 6.5 but I also need to use my Zune Pass. I lost my 80gb Zune so this is the only way I will have music in the car. So if anyone can figure this out please let me know. Its relly bad now since I cant get groveshark to work either.

Yeah I think Groveshark is down or something, I think I might just have to break down and get another Zune or a something cause I can't deal with the stock rom... I am going to attempt at trying rom building to see if it can be build in

But you would think that at least one of these chefs would at least be able to tell us how to get if if they haven't already

ThePirate Bay :evil4:

Anyways. You CAN get zune pass to work. I saw a thread on it once before. It requires you to sync your device to your PC and get the DRM downloaded to your device. Requires a little effort but it's perfectly possible.

Or wait for WM7, which will have XBL and Zune Pass support.

That is how I found out that Cooked Roms wont work with Zune. I read that earlier and actually tried it and it only worked when I had the stock Rom in. Nothing will sync with any of these Roms. I find that odd

I am using Kinoma and its Orb app to stream my Zune pass music from my desktop to my phone and it works perfectly and with great quality. To be honest I have not tried to play a file directly through Kinoma Player by I believe it would work.

I am using Silence's Jan3 rom.

WOW I completely forgot about Orb. I didnt even think about trying that first. I am sure that it would work since it would be playing from the computer. I might have to try it. But I still cant believe that no one has figured out why stock will play them but cooked Roms wont.

It would not, but I thought your workaround of using Orb was brilliant!
