Text messages VERY LAGGY or NOT RESPONSIVE
 

Sometimes I click where it says "tap here for message" but when i tap nothing happens. I get so fed up sometimes at this.

Do u mean sense 2.5 messaging client?

To replace sense 2.5 messaging with the non lagg one from 2.1.

lol, this turned into a thank you thread? Anyways, I only notice this with people that have a long chat history. It's not so slow when I chat with someone with only a few texts in their tab. I saw that fix linked above (haven't tried it yet).

i dont know what i have. i downloaded and installed energy cab with xmas theme.

i'm going to change it to mighty.

would it be all slow if i messed up flashing it? or is that not possible? unlike my TP1 i never brought it into that tri color screen to unlock it.

Yupp pretty much need more web rep you know :P

mine slows down even with a few. I can't stand waiting 4 seconds befor I can send a message

DONT FLASH UNTILL YOU USE HSPL OR U WILL BRICK UR PHONE!

I belive this workaround will also work on stock, no need to flash if you dont.

If ur still on stock tho you wouldnt have 2.5 soo it isnt a problem? #-o

I hate that too (& have said so before & at least half the responders agreed with me)

I purposefully make sure I NEVER hit the thanks button if I see "make sure you thank me" posted in that thread..........

MIne has been doing this for about 3 weeks now. It is driving me crazy. I guess I will call Sprint today and see what is going on cause I can't take my texts coming in 2-3hrs after people send them. It's worthless like this.

Please post the response you get. I've had this problem with my Touch Pro and all they ever told me was that it's the network.
