well. the most important app for me is currently the new opera beta as IE sucks. I do ALL of my paperwork for my job electronically and having it with me all day on my pda is great.

but the app i caint do without is pocket quicken from landware.com. you put intransactions and what not and when you sync your pda it synces the transactions with desktop quicken.

I have the full version of Kinoma Play and it is one of my favorites, however, since I installed MM's Impact ROM I have been having trouble getting the audio to work. Most of the time I can exit and restart but now I can't get audio to work at all.

I too really liked Groovefish when I had it on Malatesta's ROM, but now no matter how I install it and the suggested dll overwrite, it still will not function properly.

My other faves are AntWorks Auto Wallpaper Changer (I get bored with the same wallpaper all the time), Skyfire, S2U2, NFL Mobile, iCalendarFactory (it provides calendar updates for sports teams), Microsoft Marketplace, Text Message Secretary (great for assigning custom text ringtones to contacts), Tell Me, MP3 Trimmer, and Microsoft Word.

How do you use iCalendarFactory? Is there a WinMo app or does it somehow import to WinMo? Or are you using it on the desktop with Outlook and then syncing or something?

Contacts and Calendar are two essential apps that I use.

There are others that are nice to have but without Contacts and Calendar, I would switch devices in a minute.

Hi Kabuk1 - Here's a link I found most useful for Sashimi, though each iteration of Manila or Windows seems to change where things are kept (frustrating). I'm getting some of it to work, but not all.

The Sashimi help file is really pretty good for the mechanics of using the tool and the forum over at winmo-experts.com is somewhat helpful also.

It is a WinMo app. It is very easy to use. If you can't find it I can provide a link or the cab. And yes it will sync with desktop Outlook as well.

It's a WinMo app that basically pulls a month's worth of information. For me, it downloaded when the NY Giants games were and put them into my calendar for the next 4 weeks.

Does the full version of Kinoma Play run shit in the background and have pop ups once in a while? As soon as the free version did that, I got rid of that shit fast. Pet Peeve: DO NOT RUN SHIT IN THE BACKGROUND WITHOUT MY PERMISSION.
