Update PRL/Profile and custom ROMs
 
Do any of the custom ROMs offer the Update PRL and Update Profile functionality currently present in the Sprint stock ROM?

not to my knowledge, they leave that option up to the user since Sprint is the only one with those features. Most of the Chefs here make roms for all carriers. if you need the files you can just do a quick search.

Some ROMs use JMZ All Carrier Provision.

After it's provisioned you'll have the PRL and Profile Update.

Click on the Paper Clip on some of the larger ROM threads and you'll see the CAB files attached.

So in order to update the PRL in a custom ROM, I would have to import the PRL file manually to my phone?

Is there a way to restore the Sprint update PRL functionality in a custom ROM?

Mine does, with a simple registry edit :)

Both Profile and PRL options are in the system control panel, but their functionality is disabled.

a simple registry edit and a soft reset enables them both to work fine :)

Which ROM are you running? Can you elaborate on the registry edits needed to restore the PRL/Profile update functionality?

Is this one working with Mighty's ROM? My earlier attempts at using a PRL updater failed, and left a nasty message whenever the phone was restarted, while on Mighty's ROM. Something about the way the phone is named.

It is working on standard version but not on the latest "War" build

My rom does, and they work fine with Sprint.
