Footprint on TP2 ???

There are many Leo roms, none of them have a working version of footprint ,or a working cab ??? when footprint is opened usin GPS camera
it doesn't save image in footprint, and when digital compass is opened
it now shows magnetic interference and wants you to do figure 8 pattern
it does nothing. Can anyone help ? I love the concept of this program
But, it make no sense add this program to roms if it doesnt work....

+1

Seems like a good concept. I saw a post today in the Juicy rom thread about someone wanting to back up their Footprint data, so it must work for some people.

Re: Footprint on TP2 ???

The hd2 has hardware that the tp2 doesnt. This hardware is required for footprints. I dont know what hardware or why the tp2 doesnt have it. Thats just what i have been hearing.

I thought Footprints does work. I'm on the EnergyROM Leo, and have the tab. If I take a pic, there is a gps option, and in the album, I can say save to Footprints. Are you guys referring to anything specifically?

Think the thread is about "Digital Compass"
From what I have been able to find we do not have the hardware for that on TP2

I find it hard to believe that it's hardware that we're missing(i could be wrong), reason is that i owned a vogue prior to the touch pro 2 and footprints was fully functional on the custom roms that i flashed

Footprints uses gps, not the compass (but you are right in saying the HD2 has one and the TP2 does not).

Re: Footprint on TP2 ???

Whiteblazer above is the 2nd TP2 user that I have seen that has a working Footprints application. I think most of us get the "cant find camera" error when we try to add a new Footprint.
