How to clear speed dial?
 

I have tried to change the phone number on several of my speed dial numbers and I cannot change the phone number. It always comes back as the number that was entered first. I can enter a new number but after some period of time it always comes back.Is there a way to clear individual or all numbers on speed dial. I do not want to hard reset.

just go into speed dial, hold down the contact you want to change/delete, and then hit edit or delete? maybe i don't understand you question.

even if I delete the speed dial number and replace it with a different number, it always reverts to the first number. For example if i have xxx-xxx-xxxx as a number for speed dial 6 and then change the number to xxx-xxx-yyyy it will always revert to the first number.
Deleting the entire speed dial contact and the number does not help either.
I have used pim backup before to try and restore the speed dial numbers but it did not work and i have wondered if that has something to do with it.
I would delete all the speed dial numbers and start over if that would help.
