MMS Problem Downloading
 

Im having trouble trying to send or download pics. It says they are too large. When i try to download the message says: The message to be downloaded exceeds the "Recieving size limitation" you specified.

Im using Arcsoft MMS Sprint 5.0.94.128c and am using Mighty Rom.

Am i using the right Arcsoft or is there something that can be done? :scratch:

in your registry editor go to:
HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/arcsoft mms ua/config/mm1/mmscsetting/SprintMMSC
and see that your
WAP1Recvdefault= 9999999
WAP1Senddefault= 5120000
WAP2Recvdefault= 9999999
WAP2Senddefault=5120000

With those settings your receive should be almost 10megs per dl max and 5 megs per send max.

skip the first cab, second cab has the 5mb reg. edits.

Does that cab set a 5 meg send and receive or just send (or receive)?

The Arcsoft App above is for Sprint right? cause it also seems i could use the update.

Yes, it's for Sprint. There's actually a few cabs floating around, some have worked for some people and not others. D/L Darren's cab and run it, if it doesn't work, let us know, there's others around to try.

open registry editor...go to hklm, SOFTWARE, Arcsoft, Arcsoft MMS UA, Config, mm1, MMSCSetting, Sprint (or whatever you called your default server) and change all 4 wap settings to 5120000(or other higher number)(5120000 = aprox 5mb). I also did the same for all the servers.

The cabs that Darren posted worked. For some reason the old Arcsoft that i had wasnt trying to be friendly with me. That new one worked like a charm. Thanks!

im confused....you say skip the 1st cab the 2nd has 5mb reg edits..but the 1st cab is the one thats about 5mb..the 2nd is 23kb

The second just changes the limits of an existing install to 5 megs.
