The only things that will make this wait justifiable would be sense 2.5 or winmo 6.5.3. Other then that the fact that all the other carriers have theirs and we don't have ours for this much longer is unacceptable and honestly not fair. Every other US carrier has their 6.5 upgrade except Sprint.

Yeah & that's why the BB Tour got their recent update on SPCS - business users get the priority.
Us hobbyist are usually last in line.
I mean on 1 hand you can say the TP2 cost more than any other phone in the SPCS inventory but are the corporate/biz IT area budget going to spend for TP2 or a BB?

Like I pontificated, most general users don't really care or don't know enough to care about what the TP2 does...thus the case for iPhones & WM7.
I put myself in the latter cat - I don't know enough about 6.5+ to get frustrated.

They don't give prizes for most updates by carriers & I certainly didn't sign up with SPCS for their updates! LOL!

actually I dont care any longer about the official SPRINT TP2 upgrade.. what is it going to gis us new? I think a custom ROM is better... MIGHTY is the way to go. HOWEVER, you cant get support without flashing back to stock when you need support...

and i think by the time that the upgrade does get released (if sprint ever releases it for our phone), there may be a WM 7 device for sprint already. and im pretty sure there's going to be a lot of members that will upgrade (or haggle) their way to that/those device(s).

Obviously a number of us are simply not able or willing to go the custom ROM route for whatever reason. Regardless of the benefits, we just don't want to go to that level, and there's nothing wrong with that, so before you start going on and on about how we should just go custom stop and ask yourself what point you're trying to make. :) Personally, my phone is my work phone, and I have coworkers that I have to support as part of my job, so not having stock isn't an option. Doesn't mean I don't want the benefits of WM6.5.x and Sense UI.

Frankly, I have to admit that waiting for Sprint is extremely annoying at this point. This is what happened with the TP1 too... everyone else got updates but them, and the TP2 came out before the TP1's update. Absolutely ridiculous! It's not rocket science, given how many people are so easily able to create their own ROMs and have a perfectly acceptable experience.

Hey, if the WP7 devices are out, I'm going to upgrade regardless of having an update available or not. I'm a HUGE fan of my Zune HD, and having a bigger, badder version of it that's a phone would be a huge benefit to me. :)
