Would a Police Scanner radio even work on a CDMA?

I would love it on on my TP2. :)

Or just browse to scanamerica.com and click the stream you want.

Perhaps scanneramerica.com is what you mean. Scanamerica.com is about document scanning.

I'm getting kinda sick of these threads. "Android has this! iPhone has this! Why doesn't WinMo?!?!" Well, because it's microsoft, and it's NOT Android or iPhone. /Rant. Anybody else?

I believe we have MORE useful apps, they are just scattered to the wind on the net, and take some digging to find.

Is it even possible to use your phone as a police scanner? Does it have the radio for that? Or are you just looking for a website that streams a local police scanner or something like that?

Streaming is the only option. There is a link around here somewhere to a good site. The powerful "search" function on this site is your friend

Thanks bro... I went back to XDA and downloaded the cab again and now I can get into the marketplace without a problem. Not much there STILL. lol.
Anyone using wunder radio with the stock Sprint ROM successfully? Mine works... Just the display goes to all white as soon as it connects to a station. I loaded it on my wife's TP and all controls work. Is this a VGA WVGA issue?

Really, The sad part is that Winmo Has been out for a very long time. And since Iphone and Andriod actually gets promoted the most across media it makes the app developers go that route over WinMo. Mainly because they are new. I love WinMo and wont switch. But like most others i do get the occasional App envy. It would be nice to have some of those sweet apps. and eventually im sure WinMo will as it gets advertised more.

My hope is that things start to change and we start to see more developers come our way with the release of WM7. Microsoft has all the right pieces to dominate, they just need to put them together and markey them aggressively. Imagine how the marketplace would explode if they brought an XBL type of service to WinMo phones. Maybe a tie in where XBLA games work on both WinMo and 360. That would be a great move and difficult for Apple to counter.
