Short and sweet...is there anyway to have Push to talk nextel style on the sprint TP2?

i dont think that is possible, would be nice though. That is one thing i miss about nextel, that PTT was very convient ecspecailly when u just need to say something quick..

plus, if it was possible what button would you press?

I'm pretty sure the ATT version, aka Tilt2 DOES have a PTT button.

So glad it doesn't have this. Is there anything more annoying and awkward then someone talking on PTT in the same room?

Yes, there is! Have you tried to connect to AT&T 3G before? You have to hobble around on one leg, wrapped in foil with rabbit ears soldiered to your phone all while chanting the special pass-phrase "AT&T is our leader, we will obey AT&T".. that's more annoying than PTT.

Gee, I take it you don't believe the AT&T commercials about the 3G speeds on AT&T vs. Verizon? ;-)

I'm so glad I'm not with Verizon. I still have both my arms and legs.
