None yet here. I'm using my Touch Pro USB instead of the TP2 cable. To me the charger and USB cable is of less quality as the Touch Pro cables/usb cord. I purchased the TP in August and Sprint upgraded me to the TP2 just a few weeks ago...It's a known fact that the TP has major flaws..I guess I was lucky.

I've had my TP2 for almost a month and so far I can tell that this phone will last much longer than my TP. I had numerous problems with the first TP, none of which I have encountered with this TP2. I have heard of only one issue that continues to plague the TP2 that did the TP and that is the rainbow box screen.

I guess the only complaint I have is not the phone itself, but how Sprint or HTC went with the push internet idea. They have Opera running in the background constantly...which uses system memory. I feel if there knew they were going to do this they probably should have increased the system meory to like 512 or something. I know there are cab's out there to disable it, but I tend not to use those things. Also probably the soft reset location on the TP2...inside the battery area is not the best location. Other than that I've very very pleased with this phone....no issues so far.

thats htc sense. use the cab or find a rom that has thsi already taken out.
why not use the cab? like its gonna do any harm.

make a hole for the soft reset button and there ya go. it wont hurt the cover or look ugly cuz you will barley see it.

I have had 3 TP2 devices. #1 & 2 had loose USB connectors and overheated.

Re: Touch pro 2 Hardware

I had the loose-USB syndrome and rainbow LCD issue with my last TP2. The rainbow LCD issue is caused by too much pressure being applied to the LCD (e.g: pushing too hard on the screen), from what I can tell. I didn't realize this until after swapping mine out and reading up on the issue online.

The loose-USB issue appears to be an issue with using standard miniUSB cables in the proprietary USB port. It fits, it works but it is a little loose, and the issue isn't present with my OEM TP2 cable, on either of the TP2's I've had.

I use an iGo charger in my car for my TP2. The miniUSB tip works, but if wiggled a bit the phone will stop charging. Same with my old XV6800 USB cable and my laptop.

These are my observations, not facts. Check for yourself if you'd like, hopefully I'm correct and the issues are user-related :)
