crazy battery life.... I LOVE THIS PHONE
 

I installed the disable proxy cab and that other ssk cab in addition to the TP2 essentials cab.

Yesterday I got over 36 hrs and still had 40% before i put it back on the charger. The phone is snappy now that opera proxy has been disable. I'm just hoping this change isn't temporary.

Mods: tp2 essentials, proxy cab, ssk cab, tf3d disabled, SPB MS 3.5

ya im very surprised at my batt life.. I have the tmobile version.. ( gsm ) but still this thing will last me all day with moderate usage... of course i dont have push email going.. everything is off til i need to use it.. but still im very impressed. even my wife is enjoying it.. and its her first smartphone...

frees more ram but slows down the start of opera. i got the cab from here. can't find the url at the moment.

i'm a heavy users... checking 5 email accounts. sync with exchange every 30 min. i talk about 6k a month. nice to have a phone that lasts all day... i've had batteries for my tp, mogul, touch, 6700 and treo 700wx... this is the first one that won't need it.

You must not talk on the phone alot. Just using data and txts seem to take the TP2 a long way. But if you talk a lot, you are lucky to even get 8 hours without plugging it in. Otherwise, it does have great battery life. The only other HTC phone I have had that came close to it was the Touch.

I get maybe 4 or 5 hours of straight talk time off of a full charge usually. sometimes it really depends on the day though.

Are you installing these on the original 6.1 rom? or have you loaded a custom rom? if so which one?

From my experience, TouchFlo3D uses a lot of power when stand by. My battery life doubled after switching to SPB mobile shell 3.52.

Lmao 36hrs is very long damn day lol... but in all seriousness is the opera proxy being disabled really that battery life saving...

ram goes down to 54% util with the cabs but i'm 100% sure my battery life went up from going 9am till 6pm without needing a charge till now I finally plugged my phone in at 2am.

i still surf the web, use pocket express to catch the scores and news, txt all day, talk 7 hrs. My last stats are:

standby 21 hrs, device talk 3:17, device use 20:15 since last full battery charge @ 8am

I know for sure it was these cabs since that was the last thing i changed. I never use TF3D manilla. THat's the first thing i disable. I don't have wifi turned on and i don't usually have BT headset. I keep BT stack on but turn off explorable. I also have G-sensor enabled.

i talk easily 3 hrs a day. txt about 50 a day. Surf the web maybe 20 min a day. Check email every 30 min via exchange and 1x a day for GMAIL, HOTMAIL. Check weather every hr too. Read news 3x a day via pocket express. Not much video watching or listening to music unless i'm on my bike.
