FpseCE .10 RELEASED!! (Playstation Emulator)
 

Looks like the the infamous release of the FpseCE emulator for PPC has finally been officially released for public consumption. Just wanted to let others know, sow we can all try it out.

Maybe some feedback from those who try it, on what games are working for everyone, would be nice.

For playing your PlayStation games on your Windows mobile or Windows CE based device on the hardwareside you need enough free space on your storage card, a fast CPU, and enough memory on your device.

On the software-side you need FPSEce (which you can download for free on this website), PocketISO to compress your images (if you like), an image of a PlayStation-game you own,and a PlayStation-BIOS for use with FPSEce.

USEFUL TIPS
For anyone who cannot interact with the "Load CD ROM" page after launching FpseCE 0.10, try disabling/killing the Showcase Suite.

Also, if the program keeps quitting after 10 to 20 seconds, try turning off ARM compatibility in the fpse.ini file.
Edit: turning ARMCoreMMX off and not ARMCoreV5 also seemed to work, so experiment with both settings.

I checked it out but was having a hard time finding an actual download link. I found something that asked for a payment.

Here it is, you just have to click on the latest version to get the dropdown. But I attached the zip file anyway. Just extract the cab and PDF from the zip. Copy the cab to phone and install.

The paid version is for Developers or anyone who wants to contribute.

Perhaps some people weren't interested in the emulator?
I downloaded it, installed it, got a Playstation ROM and attempted to run it on Might Love and it was a no go, phone locked up, soft reset, attempted again, still locked the phone interface
Disabled HTC Sense, attempted again with same results
I tweaked the fpse.ini to point to where I have the game rom and it still locked up the interface, any help?

Perhaps!!! Although, I usually don't view a thread unless I'm interested. 162 views now. Anyhow, I was just looking for anyone who tried it, to post their results. As you did. Thanks for that.

Yeah... Ive got Final Fantasy Tactics working and playing... but I cant get the Hardware Keyboard to map. i can have the oncreen virtual keys, but I dont need all those damn buttons on the fricken screen im playing on.

Once someone figures this out, can someone post an INI file to that shows the updated configs for the TP2 Keyboard.
