TP2 sync problems when trying to upgrade ROM

When I try to upgrade the ROM with MM's version, the sync disconnects and the connection is lost......Is there a way to fix the problem? My TP2 is verizon. I am new to this-so any help would be great.

I don't know about your problem specifically, but one thing that I like to do may work for you. Put it in bootloader mode first, then connect and run your rom update. My sprint tp2 goes into bootloader by pressing down volume and power buttons while the phone is off. Not sure if verizon is the same, but that should be easy to find with a quick search. This is also a good trick for upgrading and you don't have 50% charge on your battery.

Just a thought make sure your compouter is not going idle or the Anti-Virus is trying to do regular scan this will muck up the sync. Also try this remove the battery waiting 30 secs for ROM to clear. The pres dial/hangup/power (sprint ver) I think you need to hold volume up. The once in boot loader moder connect to the PC it should work ok for you. Happy Holidays
