It prompts me this:
"your account has expried. Renew or call 88.TeleNav.4" What do I do?? ugh. I am on energy rom. |

i called and they said i have to use Sprint Navigation not telenav. he gave me a link to download it but I didn't see touch pro 2 there.

Howbout trying a different ROM...
One time I downloaded the telenav app and had the same problem you describe. I tried all kinds of things and ended up just Hard Resetting my phone. I know that blows chunks. But... another option. p. |

That happened to me awhile back. I uninstalled Telenav v5.5 then reinstalled. It asked me to log in again and all was good.

You have to make sure that you delete sprint navigator from file explorer when you are using telenav. That is what worked for me beautifully!!

So this just happened to me yesterday (exact same issue), called the telenav number and they referred me back to sprint. Jumped through a bunch of tech people until I just demanded they reprovision my data (##3282#, enter msl, menu and restore) and bam up and running with the 5.5 ver.. Data restore is what you want or at least it worked for me. Good luck.

Had this problem a few months back when I flashed one of the Mighty ROMs. You have to call sprint, the sprint rep is going to get you to try all this stuff thats not going to work, tell them no thanks. Tell the sprint rep that he has to call telenav while your on the phone and tell them to renew your account. They are not going to want to do it, but it takes all of 5 min, you have to Demand that they do it. It took me 3 days to get it fixed, but have been working fine ever since.

I am running the telenav software because I prefer telenav's voice control over sprint navs voice control. What are the EXACT steps I have to walk the spritn rep through? What is the number to Telenav for me to give the Sprint Rep? Thanks. |

Tell the sprint rep that your on an everything plan and your telenav is coming up expired. Then tell them to call telenav so that they will renew your account, because they won't let you do it personally, it has to be a sprint rep. If they try to get you to do something else (i.e. hard reset, try to give you a cab to try) Tell them no it won't work. If the sprint rep calls telenav and just says renew this account you will be up and running within 5 min. The rep has the number to telenav.

The fastest way to renew is to run the sprint nav, then you can uninstall it and run telenav... there is a script in the sprint nav that updates telenavs database for (30 days?). It might be a pain, but you don't have to talk to any reps.

I too use Telenav as it's much cleaner and I do like the speech input. I keep Sprint Navigation AND Telenav installed. When I get the expired message, I start up Sprint Navigation, and that usually fixes Telenav. Try it? |

Whenever I get that problem, I just use Bing instead... Doesn't seem much different than TeleNav.. |

even if you were successful in having a sprint rep contact telenav for you....you'll have to do the whole dance again in a year. yeah your sprint nav is through telenav....but you dont really have an account with telenav per se. our account in the telenav system is kinda like a group account...meaning it is classified in their system differently as opposed to an actual individual telenav account. that's why sprint's version isn't as nice as telenav's and that is why its like pulling teeth to have a sprint rep call telenav.
personally...sprint nav works for me the way it should. hassle of going to try to force sprint to get me the access so i dont get an expired message on the telenav app is simply just not worth my time and effort. |
