Stock Verizon 6.5 and not updating. I can confirm that conditions have actually changed at the source, but the phone is not showing them.
I have just updated at about an hour and 40 minutes, last time was over 2 hours (My DWORD is set at 30) Funny thing is that when it updated, the values it is showing are not what is being reported by Accuweather or NWS for that station...I saw the update visually and went and checked immediately. It's showing conditions from earlier in the day by at least an hour even right after the update.
Edited: I just went to the weather tab and it showed that it had updated 2 minutes ago. I hit Update Now and the values changed again (almost impossible given frequency of actual reporting intervals from the station) The values changed to what the current conditions are...both in temperature and forecast. Recap: Automatic update (when it worked) retrieved newer values than had been currently showing, but still out of date. Almost immediate subsequent Manual Update retrieved new (and current) values. |
