SPRINT HTC TOUCH PRO 2 Roms

OK Ive been reading the FAQ and Ive been doing some reSEARCH as well. Im still kind of confused on which ROM I should go with. I recently traded my HTC Hero to get the Touch Pro 2. To my surprise Ive found out that I that there is Sense UI themes for Widows Mobile and there's also widgets. I also want to know if I decided to flash my roms how does this effect my Sprint TV and Sprint Navigation. The TV came in handle when I was watching the game on NFL network. But with so many ROMS Im confused on which to pick. Also it'll be nice to have WinMo 6.5 but thats not a necessity

I'm running MightyROM121909 and I'm on Sprint, I think it's stable beyond belief and Sprint TV and NFL work great on it. I've also flashed JD's and Cfays and both worked great, but didn't try to use sprint TV or NFL on them.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

First of all widgets only work with WM6.5. So look for a WM6.5 rom. Some are using WM6.5.3 which is a newer build, but incompatable with some older programs. This is due to having the start menu move to the bottom.
Of all the roms I've tried, mightyrom is the most stable. He also has some project roms, but they have a few issues.
Sprint TV and Navigation are available as programs you can add to any rom. So look for a rom that suits your style, but also one that does what you want it to do. For instance, manila 2.5 still has issues with MMS and landscape for our devices.
Choose Wisely

I was running Mightymike but changed to Silence. both work great. you can get all the sprint programs on these forums and no problems with them as far as I have used. most of the cooks have the cabs listed on the first page of there threads for the sprint apps.

One of the fun things i find about owning this phone is trying all of the different roms.Just download a program called sashimi ( this puts a folder in your storage card of which you can put in all of the cab files, including sprint tv and sprint navigation). Then everytime you try new rom you can put all of your "must have" programs back into your phone easy. I also have a version of spb backup which i use just to back up my PIMS( contact numbers). I just created a folder on my storage card named PIMS and everytime i update my contacts backup i just replace the earlier backup in this folder. So my recommendation to you is to just dive in and try all of the roms for yourself and see which one you like. I personally bounce back and forth between Energy's Leo roms and PPC7's roms. Seeing that you have a sprint tp2, make sure you use the unlocker specifically made for CDMA and not the one for the GSM versions. The same goes for the roms you choose. Only use the CDMA roms. Your safe bet is to get your roms from here on the section specifcally titled CDMA TP2 UPGRADES. Have fun.
