I have the game and it's not a .cab (which i would just install from the device).

It's a large .rar.

Do i extract it on my computer first. then copy and paste the folder?

get pocket rar and just extract it from ya phone :u usually theres cabs in there or exes. or manillas... lol

i have pocket rar installed on the phone but for some reason it doesn't unrar. it doesn't do anyhting.

it's a rar file. a game a friend sent me.

basically the unrar program is not working on the phone. i don't know why. some of the buttons are there but for some reason they won't click.

when i click to unrar it just asks me to associate the files. that's it. it doesn't say unrar or even try to. all the buttons on the bottom are unclickable.

Could I just winrar the files on my computer and extract to either the device or to my computer (if computer i can then copy and paste files onto device)???

Yes you can unrar the contents on the PC and then copy them over to the phone and run the setup or install from there.

yes, and when i click on the rar file i get this:

"Associate the RAR files
Associalte the ZIP files

Enable these options if you wish to make pocket RAR a default program to open RAR and ZIP archives."

then at the bottom 3 tabs:

"compression paths integration"

under that (none of these items will click)

"file, tools, books symbol, open books, red recycle, open file, keyboard"

Click the OK button in the top right hand corner first to accept the "associate rar" and "associate zip" choices first. Then the menu options at the bottom should be accessible.

Okay, outside comment from a noob (you knew it would come): I am still ROTFL that "unrar" is a verb. That somehow seems so...wrong. :confused1: :evil4:

Wow, don't know what to say. Try the BACK hardware button (next to the End Call key) in that case.

Although those bottom menus / buttons were visible, think of it this way...the window where you were being asked to associate RAR and ZIP files with winrar was "on top" and had to be answered first. I bet once you hit the back button, that window disappeared and then you saw the normal file explorer style window in winrar.
