Re: huge problem need help asap!!!!!!

to know for sure if it is a soft or hardware issue is reflash back to stock how ever you can get it back to stock, then if the problem is still there the phone is bad, and if it goes away then you know it was for some reason Mighty's rom was the problem, that pretty much sums it up.

i always figured it was a hardware problem and nothing to do with the Mighty Rom i have. but as someone mentioned what will happen when i return a phone to sprint that has the stock rom loaded via the SD card but hasnt been relocked cause my phone is unable to sync to my computer so i can lock it...

You could also get another battery, then reflash, return etc. Sometimes the store will lend you a battery or you can see if they have one. You could try just telling them the battery won't hold a charge and see if they will swop batteries with you.

Another thought is maybe you can send it to HTC instead of your cellphone provider for repair.

HTC may just go in and repair the socket.

These are the steps to relock from SDcard. However I still don't see the manual SSPL in Cmonex's thread. Still says coming soon. You will need that to relock from SDcard. Maybe try and send her a PM and see if she can provide any assistance with that file. I know she's real busy, so be patient. Otherwise, I don't know how else you can relock.

RELOCK VIA SDcard:

First download the relocker exe from the hard spl thread HERE
Then create a new folder on your desktop and place the exe inside and run it. Once the RUU opens, look in the folder you placed the exe in and you will see all the necissary RUU filed extracted, most importantly the RUU_signed.nbh. Then copy and paste the nbh and rename it to RHODIMG.nbh and place it in the root of your sd card (formatted to FAT32 of course) You can now close the RUU.
Next step is to download the SSPL from HERE

Copy the SSPL-Manual.exe file from the archive to the root of your device. Run the SSPL-Manual.exe from your device and once in bootloader press POWER to update, it will run and VOILA your Touch Pro2 is locked from the SD card.

Did you try a different cable? I have several mini-usb cables, and a couple of them just don't work well with my TP2. Might want to give that a try too.
