read mail on phone, keep unread on pc
I frequently will quickly scan an email on my phone with the intention of reading and replying to the email when I return to my desk at work.
Using outlook exchange, any mail marked as read on my phone will automatically mark as read on my desktop outlook program. When this happens I will forget to read the email again sometimes. Is there anyway to read mail on my phone and keep it marked as unread on outlook? My blackberry used to do this which was very nice. Thanks, Nick |

That sounds easy enough ... but when you have 10 or so emails to glance through it can be annoying ..
and , i have actually tried doing that but when i then mark something as unread the freaking notification light starts blinking again and wont go away. and i hate seeing the notification lights blinking |

Hmmm, well...I don't what to tell you.
When I go through emails on my phone, I delete, move on, or mark as unread one by one. This is sorta like going through physical mail, no? You know, you could select more than one email at a time and delete, save, or mark if you'd like. Regarding the lights, try no2chem nueLED. You can customize the LEDs, turning off the new mail notification if you want. |
